On The 7Th October i had the privilege to work on set of an upcoming film called 4,3,2,1 Directed by Noel Clarke. The Journey to old Street was long but worth it, When i arrived i met Yoko who introduced me to everyone Femi Oyerian who had previously starred in Kidulthood and Adulthood.
I then went and helped collect the extras from Kings Cross Station, we then travelled to set to have a sandwich and a packet of crisps, where sitting one table away from me was Noel Clarke, Femi Oyerian and Shanika Warren Markland ( Who was absolutely Gorgeous). At about 7pm we began shooting even though it was raining. All the actors had there runners who would go and get them tea, coffee, Jacket, Umbrella and so on. So for the evening i was Shanika's runner and when they weren't shooting i was able to ask a few questions about how she got into acting.
I also learnt something called Checking the gate, which is basically checking a piece of clear glass to see if it is clean because when the editors upload the shots they don't want to have a bit of fluff on the shot otherwise it would spoil the whole scene and they don't have time to re film the scene. So Being the runner for the most Gorgeous woman on set wasn't bad. At about 11pm we finished shooting i shook Noel Clarke's hand and thanked him for the opportunity to work on set i also thanked Femi Oyerian and Shanika for all the acting advice.
Overall it was a great experience even if i was a runner and would like to thank the Media Technician for for putting me forward in this once in a life time opportunity, and would gladly do it again.
